Right to the point: the artwork and text seemed rushed and the panels also did not have any fluid motion to accompany the storytelling. The coloring was way off the mark, it would seem they could at least put more infuses on the color patterns related to the characters. The timeline of Shadowhawks from the past to the present was very good, but also looked rushed, and needed more ink work with the pencils. The storyline was very informative, and the secrets of having a reoccurring hero through the centuries were pure genius.
This one-shot is more like a feeler, a book distributed by the publishers so they can determine if there is some interest in the awakening of the Shadowhawk series. I know for sure that there was a loyal following of this title by many comic enthusiasts, myself included. I just feel there was a need for more of a detailed effort on the publisher to give loyalists of this title a presentable product. I was very disappointed; this could have been a better quality product, but I still liked it nonetheless.
