The exciting and provocative miniseries Bomb Queen starts and concludes with a BOOM! Do not get the idea that someone from a vicious background cannot run a city. Bomb Queen is the tyrant gifted with the boobalicious and bootylicious body, the Queen of New Port City! (Do not confuse her city with Sex in the City! However, the two are not too far apart). Bomb Queen by her standards does quite an interestingly regal job.

Jimmie Robinson writes and draws this tale, which invokes government corruption and political undertones at their quirky best. Mayor Hilton of New Port city is the political puppet of Bomb Queen. She threatens him constantly to learn the secrets of her political opponent Robert Woods. Woods is the stately politician who has a plan to get rid of the impetuous Bomb Queen from New Port city. Woods hires Ace Justice, a hero that could get rid of her forever! The battle action between the two combatants in issues number two and three are very hot and heavy! The sexual innuendo flows effortlessly with Bomb Queen taunting Ace; the story holds readers’ interest and is all fun with unrestrained pacing. While reading the story I had to ask myself: am I rooting for the hero to conquer and clean up New Port City, or am I rooting for the dominatrix? Will she prevail with her vivacious and cunning artillery of… “bombs?”

Bomb Queen is the epitome of what a female villain should be. A conniving, egotistical, sultry, and sexy vixen. (Ah, my kind of woman. No offense to my wife, of course) This miniseries explodes with mayhem and action from the opening panels with the introduction of the sexy dictator in issue number one, until the climatic final panels in issue number four. This title was so exhilarating it was BOOMING hot! This title is graphic in appearance and for mature readers. Bomb Queen is pure enjoyment especially for readers who love their characters on the dark and sexy side, a-la Lady Death, Shi, and Cheetah.

The creative team of Jimmie Robinson and colorist Angel Marin put together a great new character. Bomb Queen’s bawdy action-packed tales are not at an end. The one-shot featuring Bomb Queen and Blacklight will be out in August! Can someone say super-catfight? I give this title a booming five stars. Keep up the good work, Shadowline! I am expecting great things from this line of titles spearheaded by the great Jim Valentino!  For Mature Readers.
