"Most Wanted" part 1

The Outsiders enlist the Help of John Walsh from the hit TV Show "America's Most Wanted" to track down a kidnapper and exploiter of children. The Outsiders are on the case, tracking down a kidnapper named Tanner. One night while disbanding a group of arms dealers in New York, Grace and Shift stumble upon the unthinkable: child abuse. Grace, who herself was kidnapped and abused when she was a teenager, learns her own abuser is the same person who held the children she found captive. The Outsiders argue among themselves until Nightwing suggests they ask none other than John Walsh to help them in finding Tanner.

The artwork by Carlos D'anda is penciled very well, although the details in the panels are very dark. The colors by Sno-Cone add to the quality and dark exterior of the drawings. The story by Judd Winick is a good social concise story and a good, timely “awareness” read for the readers. I am very interested to see how the next issue turns out because in the prelude it has the Outsiders ousting Nighwing as their leader.

This is a good book: an excellent read, and it brings awareness to young readers that help is out there.
