In the previous issues of Space Ghost: Thaddeus Bach suffered the loss of his family; he obtained the arsenal to inflict revenge on those responsible for the demise of his family; he gained a new family by saving two orphans named Jan and Jayce from the planet Meridian; he battled an arch-nemesis named Zorak that destroyed entire races of people.

extravaganza Thaddeus Bach is put through a test of will. He must choose between defusing a bomb made from his own ship, or saving the remaining inhabitants of Meridian and losing the chance to seek his revenge on Cmdt Temple. Thaddeus uses his skills and his determination to stop the bomb, and defeat his evil enemy Zorak. The most satisfying experience Thaddeus encountered was bringing to justice the man who left him for dead and who made him who he is today: Space Ghost.

The series was outstanding. The artwork by Ariel Olivetti was captivating. The covers by Alex Ross on each issue captured the aura of a 2-dimensional character and brought Alex Toth’s creation into true life for readers. Thrills and chills were depicted from the beginning to the very end of each issue. Joe Kelly's story was crafted nicely, and well balanced with an emotionally charged sub-plot. The variety of emotions expressed by the characters in the panels is gracefully displayed in the craftsmanship by the creative team. The creative team concluded this series with a realistic ending that could stand alone and either finish with this issue or continue with new adventures. The appreciation I have for this quality production of the Space Ghost mini-series goes without measure. I did not want it to end.

But wait readers!

The editors surprised readers stating that the original creative team will adventure out in space again with a new miniseries at a later date. I would be tickled invisible if Space Ghost could join the DC universe. Think of it, the team of Green Lantern and Space Ghost vs. Sinestro and Brak!

I give the series a 5.0 rating. The series had quality artwork with an action-packed and original story line, a thrilling homage to fans of the Saturday morning cartoon hero.
