Cottage Three BLAHG
October 11, 2006
Well are ya? I know I am! Oh, I'm sorry, I think I might have chipped the mystique of the creator's unwavering dedication to his/her creation. Bottom line: I am killing Cottage Three.
Fear not, dear friend, for there is light down yonder tunnel. Whereas Cottage Three will be no more, from its ashes will rise another. I'll get to that in a moment. First, I would like to let you into my ADD riddled head and give you a reason or two (or three) as to why I have come to axe this comic.
1) You know it, and I know it. . . If Frank Cho wanted to sue me, he'd not have to try very hard.
2) I am currently working on two other non-webcomic projects and Cottage Three just eats up way too much of my time.
3) I am, quite simply, bored with it, and I want to let it go before that starts to show in the work too much.Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch once said "Murder your darlings". Maybe that doesn't apply here, but you get the idea.
There you go. It's that simple. Now, it's on to what you can expect in the future. I will be starting a new webcomic and a new website in a few months (I need some time to get everything ironed out for it). Cottage Three will be archived on the site and will lead directly into the new webcomic, which will be titled: Mephistopheles and the Audrey Hepburn Fanclub.
I will let your pondering minds try to work out what it will be about. I'll give you a hint: It involves Steve and Death Metal. Discuss.
Last but certainly not least, I don't want to lose you!
Please, drop me an email at matt_rawson80@yahoo.com with the subject heading: Join the Fanclub.
I will add your email address to a list and drop you a line when the new website and comic are up and running. IMPORTANT NOTE: That is ALL I will use your address for. It will not be given to ANYONE else.
So, I sincerely hope to hear from as many of you as possible, and I will see you all in a couple months!! Take it easy.

No new comic this week or next, sorry folks. This is because after over a year of constant weekly updates I need a break. I have a couple other projects I am pursuing and Cottage Three is deceptively time-consuming. Plus I have some Netflix movies I need to watch, and do some general laying about and resting. So, I will see you all again in a couple of weeks!

LOST. That show is visual/mental crack. It is quite possibly the most brilliant show that’s been broadcast on television since The Prisoner.
This comic was actually completed three days before my self-imposed deadline, and I am largely just making fun of myself. You can expect further trips into “The Procrastination Zone” in the future, however, because...well... I procrastinate like a mother&*%#$#, and I think it'll be fun to let you all in on the things that occupy my “free time”.
And, yes, that fella is McPedro from Girls With Slingshots held hostage after the Mobius crossover. I'll be throwing him back home soon.

Due to the crunch of getting ready for Baltimore Comic-Con, and the de-compression upon returning, the strip will be a day or two late this week. Look for it Thursday, or Friday at the very latest. I apologize to those folks I talked with at Baltimore that are visiting for the first time, but feel free to browse the archives and get caught up! Oh, and welcome!
Standing in for the strip is the promo art I did for Baltimore, so for those of you who were not there, (which I imagine is the vast majority of you) enjoy!
I'll see you in a day or so!

Find out where Kahn got dragged off to in Brooke Spangler’s A Girl and Her Fed!
This weeks strip is part of a cross-Webcomic Hotness storyline, so those of you who have followed forth from the world of Girls With Slingshots, welcome!
Make sure, if you are going to attend the Baltimore Comi-Con this weekend, to stop by the Webcomics Hotness pavillion and say a big ol' Howdy-doo! Hope to see you there!

Here be the inaugural post for the new Cottage Three BLAHG. I'll generally use this space to inform you fine folks of news relating to C3 and other projects I may be affiliated with. Beyond that, I'll just gibber-jabber about whatever strikes my fancy at the time of the writing.
First off I'd like to let ya'll know about a few Cons I'll be attending in the near future, and those are:
-Baltimore Comi-Con, Sept. 9th & 10th
-SPX, Oct. 13th & 14th
Please feel free to drop me a line at the email address listed on this page for any reason at all! I'd be glad to hear from you!
